Stimulus JS Roadmap - What to expect

Hello and thanks for Stimulus.js!

As a backend developer, I’m eager to explore minimalist frontend frameworks. Whatever helps one put off using a more complex JS MVC / MVVM is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

I have read the handbook and the origin of Stimulus article and was wondering if there is a publicly available roadmap to see what direction Stimulus is heading towards.

  • Any unobtrusive JS functionality planned?
  • I get that Stimulus is render and transport agnostic, but is any form / field validation / ajax / modal etc related stuff in the cards?
  • Will you be posting a TodoMVC reference implementation?

I understand some of the above may be out of scope.

Thanks in advance,

Mark
